Elite: Dangerous Writer's Pledge Authors

On Friday I announced the happy news that I will be writing the official novel for Elite: Dangerous. ( Elite: Dangerous is the next game in the seminal Elite series - the game that got me into gaming in the first place!

In Elite you take command of your own starship and fly throughout the galaxy (and it really is a galaxy full of stars) trading, taking bounties or even being a pirate and preying on other ships. The scale of the game is staggering. To get the game made we need to complete funding on the Kickstarter project.

Visit the link below to learn ore about the game and pledge your support:

As part of the funding 10 writer's packs are available. These packs allow the person pledging to release a book set in the Elite universe. There's already been a lot of interest in these pledges, mainly because the Elite universe is such a great one to work in.

The writer's back costs £4,500, so some authors have created their own projects to gain the funding they need. I will be featuring each of those authors individually over the near future, but for now here are the various authors and links to their funding.

If you can help them, even with a small pledge then please do so.

"Elite - Reclamation"  by Drew Wagar.
It was the first to reach its funding level through Kickstarter and funding is still open:

"The Cost of Exploration" by Commander Boz.
It is partially funded through Kickstarter, and successfully reached its funding level on December 2nd, just before funding closed:

"Elite: Dangerous - The Novel" (working title) by Vasileios Kalampakas.
This is currently partially funded on here:

"...And Here the Wheel" by John Harper.
This is also currently partially funded on, here:

"Elite: Dangerous - Out of the Darkness" by T. James.
This is currently part funded on Kickstarter here:

Good luck to everyone, the first individual feature will be with Drew Wager later today. And if you want to read some new and exciting science fiction then please support these funding efforts. I'm really looking forward to working with them to enrich the Elite fiction.
