What has changed in your life since we last spoke?
Since we last spoke I completed my trilogy, have upped my Twitter following and re-designed my website.

Have you learnt any new wisdom?
I learnt that twitter is a great tool for book marketing. Since I have paid more attention to who I follow and have started re-tweeting and sharing my tweets my sales have significantly increased.

Have you become a better writer? If so, how?
I hope so. I have written the draft for another novel and re-written two old ones. I think the more you write the better you get. Also, the feedback from reviews has helped me to see my strengths and weaknesses.

What are you working on at the moment?
I am now working on a book about Alzheimers and some other issues, loosely entitles “A Time to Let Go”. It is a family story set in contemporary Britain. I am taking a long awaited break from historical fiction and see what it is like to write about the modern world.

Tell us about your latest release and how we can find out more.
My latest release is called THE BLACK EAGLE INN and was released October 12th 2013. It is set in post war Germany, a historical family saga that uses as background the restructuring of a country broken on the outside and the inside. It is about rivalry, politics, religion, emotional divides and the necessity to move forward in the right way.
