This is set in an alternate future London, where asteroid mining is in progress using Stansted Airport as a spaceport. The Solar System has turned out to be a very interesting place indeed. Migrant workers from other planets are flooding into London, amid some resentment. The main characters are journalists Donal, from Dublin, and Myron, a Cockney-Jamaican mix. Their work brings them into conflict with government departments, hate groups and criminal gangs.

This book is the first in a series, which continues with Dining Out With The Ice Giants.
